Accommodation Singapore introduces

Malta, Albania, Greece, and Croatia are set to become even more accessible in 2025, thanks to Lorraine Airport’s exciting new flight routes. These destinations, each brimming with rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning landscapes, offer travellers unforgettable European getaways. Whether you’re drawn to Malta’s Mediterranean charm, Albania’s bustling capital, Greece’s ancient ruins, or Croatia’s picturesque coastlines, Lorraine Airport is opening the door to these remarkable destinations, making your next adventure just a flight away.

The six one-off round-trip flights will connect Lorraine Airport to a range of exciting cities, giving travellers from the region the opportunity to discover new destinations in Europe with ease. The airport’s move to offer these seasonal routes is a response to growing demand for more diverse holiday options. With the introduction of these flights, Lorraine Airport is positioning itself as a gateway to unique holiday experiences, providing greater convenience and a more direct option for regional travellers looking to explore new cities.

The introduction of these new routes comes at a time when many holidaymakers are seeking less conventional travel experiences. Lorraine Airport’s seasonal flights are designed to offer holidaymakers a wider variety of destinations, some of which are not currently accessible from Luxembourg Airport. This opens up more opportunities for regional travellers to explore destinations that may have been out of reach until now, all while enjoying the convenience of flying from a local airport.

One of the most exciting aspects of these new routes is the introduction of Albania’s capital, Tirana, to the list of destinations. Tirana is quickly gaining recognition for its vibrant culture, rich history, and emerging tourism scene. The city is a blend of old-world charm and modern-day vibrancy, with its colourful architecture, bustling markets, and lively cafés. Tirana is becoming an increasingly popular spot for travellers looking to explore new, off-the-beaten-path locations in Europe, and Lorraine Airport’s new direct flight will allow holidaymakers to experience this unique destination without the hassle of connecting flights.

The operator Top of Travel will be running four of the six one-off flights, providing exclusive holiday packages to a selection of sought-after destinations. The first trip will take off on 23 April 2025, heading to Valletta, the capital of Malta. Known for its UNESCO World Heritage status, Valletta is a city rich in history, culture, and stunning Mediterranean views. Its cobbled streets, ancient fortifications, and beautiful palaces offer a perfect backdrop for a city break, making it a fantastic destination for culture lovers and history enthusiasts alike.

On 4 June, the next exclusive flight will take passengers to Brindisi in the southern Italian region of Puglia. Brindisi is a charming coastal city known for its Roman history, picturesque harbour, and delicious local cuisine. Travellers will have the chance to explore its ancient ruins, relax by the beach, and indulge in some of the finest Italian dishes, making it a must-visit destination for foodies and history buffs.

The final Top of Travel flight will take off on 25 September, heading to Tirana, Albania, offering another opportunity for travellers to explore this dynamic city. As Albania’s cultural and economic hub, Tirana is growing in popularity as a tourist destination, with its vibrant atmosphere, rich history, and thriving arts scene providing an immersive travel experience.

In addition to Top of Travel’s exclusive flights, the Prêt à Partir network will offer two additional package holidays to Greece. The first flight will depart on 3 May 2025, taking passengers to the beautiful island of Kos. Known for its golden beaches, ancient ruins, and traditional Greek charm, Kos offers a wonderful escape for those looking to unwind and explore the history of the Aegean. The second flight will head to Rhodes on 10 May, a stunning island famous for its medieval architecture, ancient ruins, and crystal-clear waters. Rhodes offers the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, making it an ideal getaway for both history lovers and beachgoers.

These two Greek destinations add to the appeal of Lorraine Airport’s new seasonal service, offering even more variety to regional travellers. With its mix of Mediterranean islands and cultural hotspots, the new flight offerings promise something for every type of traveller, whether they seek sun, history, or adventure.

Lorraine Airport’s new seasonal flights are more than just a convenience for local passengers – they are also expected to have a positive impact on the region’s tourism industry. With more direct access to these European destinations, Lorraine Airport is likely to attract more inbound tourists to the Lorraine region, as well as provide an economic boost to the local tourism industry. The new services could open up new opportunities for tourism-related businesses in the region, including hotels, restaurants, and cultural attractions, creating a ripple effect that benefits the broader economy.

The introduction of these six new routes marks an exciting milestone for Lorraine Airport, which continues to expand its network and offer more travel options to the local community. By offering these seasonal flights, the airport is not only making travel more accessible but also enhancing its role as a key regional hub for both outbound and inbound travellers. As the airport continues to develop, there is potential for more routes to be added in the future, making Lorraine Airport an even more significant player in the European travel market.

Malta, Albania, Greece, and Croatia are now more accessible than ever with Lorraine Airport’s new 2025 flight routes, offering travellers unforgettable European getaways filled with rich history, stunning landscapes, and unique cultural experiences.

The 2025 travel season promises to be an exciting one for Lorraine Airport, with its new seasonal routes offering a variety of destinations that are sure to appeal to regional travellers. Whether it’s the rich history of Malta, the sun-soaked beaches of Greece, or the emerging charm of Albania, these new flights provide a perfect opportunity for travellers to explore Europe from the convenience of their local airport.
